CRAIG KOONTZ, Brewer
Craig grew up in Northern California… we don’t hold that against him… and played football for Arizona State University. His glamorous introduction to brewing occurred in a buddy’s apartment kitchen. The batch was a labor of love, but the only thing worth writing home about was the nasty hangover it gave those who dared to drink it. Not good! Thankfully, Craig stumbled upon Four Peaks Brewing Company in 2000 and began brewing with people who actually knew what they were doing and did it well. Craig was an Assistant Brewer at Arizona’s largest microbrewery for 4 years before making the move to Montana to be a part of Tamarack.

Bear Bottom Blonde Kolsch Ale

Hat Trick Hop IPA
A trio of perfectly blended hops packed (Literally!)into the brew give this intensely flavorful beer incredibly bold aromas and moderately high bitterness. Balanced with caramel malt sweetness India Style Pale ales are copper in color and traditionally fortified with higher alcohol and lots of hops to preserve the beer for its long travels. Wonderfully big and bold hoppy flavor are a perfect pairing with spicy foods or for those looking for a beer to reward them with the complexity of flavors so relished by "hop head" beer lovers.Alcohol content approximately 6.8% ABV

Dock Days Hefeweizen
“Hefe” meaning yeast and “Weizen” meaning wheat are what provide this beer with its hazed cloudlike appearance. It is served unfiltered, which adds a rich and creamy full body complimented by warm fruit and spice aromas of banana and clove which again come from the unique Bavarian yeast culture. Enjoy anytime with friends, old and new, at our local Lakeside pub.Alcohol content approximately 5.0% abv

Switchback Stout
A boastful body is the only way to describe our stout. Oats added to the grist in the mash tun accentuate the dark chocolate and caramel malts and provide smoothness by subduing the harsh and bitter characters of large amounts of roasted and black malts used to achieve the opaque color and complex character of the stout beer. Not to be taken lightly, our stout beer is bold and rich but oh so velvet smooth and further enhanced with a soft texture finish. Its Andra’s personal favorite! And she quality controls every batch.Alcohol content approximately 6.0% abv

Lakeside ESP
Brewed in the tradition of the classic English style pale ale, Lakeside ESP (Extra Special Pale) is a refreshing light bodied pale ale. Perfectly balanced with subtle caramel malt sweetness and the bright floral aroma of fresh Northwest grown Willamette hops, our ESP is named after the place that so graciously accepted our brewery as its very own. Lakeside Montana is an Extra Special Place (ESP) where we chose to embark on our journey as a family and craft our beer locally, fresh, and part of a community. So, welcome to Lakeside!Alcohol Content Approximately 4.8% abv
