Cross country teaches discipline, physical and mental well being, and encourages students to do better in all aspects of life. Join us Wednesday to help keep this program alive for current and future Bigfork athletes.

2nd Annual Craft Brewers Cup

On tap for March 2013 the 2nd Annual Craft Brewers Cup Hockey Challenge & Brew Fest will be slinging craft beers and firing pucks to benefit the Flathead Valley Youth Hockey Association.
The Craft Brewers Cup is open to players from all skill levels and genders, with an intent to have a great time, drink some spectacular beer, play some fun hockey and support a great cause.
Eight slots are reserved in this years bracket sign up your team today to ensure your slot in this years tournament.
Day two of the Craft Brewers Cup (Saturday March 2nd) will be accompanied by the Craft Brewers Cup Brew Fest. Enjoy some of Montana's greatest craft beers with your participation in the Craft Breweries Cup.

Thirty eight seventh and eighth graders are raising money to participate in the "Close-Up" program's five day Washington DC program this April. The students will travel to Washington DC to expirience their government in action and gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to be informed and engaged citizens.

This Wednesdays Tap Night will benefit the Scott Firefighter Stair climb. The Scott Firefighter Stair climb is one of the favorite fundraisers of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). This year the Kalispell Fire House will climb 1,311 stairs in full fire gear to raise money for LLS. The money we raise tonight will be donated to LLS to help fund research, education and patient services.

Steep and Deep White IPA is now on tap! If our Hat Trick Hop IPA and Wakeboard Wit had a baby, this would be it. Brewed with a heavy dose of wheat malt and five hop varieties, spiced with orange peel and coriander and dry hopped with Citra hops and candied ginger, this beer has it all.

Righteous Nitrous is a Vienna Style Lager with a clean and malty smoothness. It was brewed with Kolsch style yeast and cold conditioned for a crisp and clean maltiness. It's slightly darker and sweeter than the Blonde, with a creamy mouthfeel that has made it one of our new favorites!

This Saturday, come in and try our newest seasonal, Runaround Brown. This winter brown ale was brewed with dark caramel and honey malts for a rich sessionable maltiness. Medium bodied, it utilizes late addition Simcoe and Perle hops for pleasant piney and herbal aromas and flavor. This beer is a well balanced warmer for the unbalanced winter season!

North Shore Nordic Kick and Glide Party

Join us for the North Shore Nordic Club's season kick off party! The Club will have a silent auction, a raffle and door prizes. Admission is free to join a gathering of great people, along with music from Brett Holmquist, and of course, the great food and drink!
The North Shore Nordic Club is a project intended to establish and provide high-quality nordic skiing and snowshoeing opportunities for residents of the Flathead Valley. The areas maintained for nordic skiing (Bigfork Community Nordic Center and Blacktail Nordic Trails) are entirely funded by donations and manned by volunteers.
Tamarack is proud to support the Nordic Club, and will donate 5% of the food and beverage proceeds from the event to the NSNC.

Years ago, when the Blacktail Inn stood where Tamarack stands now, Lakeside held Duck Races to benefit the Lakeside Community Club... and had a little fun at the same time.
Tamarack is proud to be the host for the 4th ANNUAL DUCK RACES! For "A Buck A Duck," you can join in the fun! Stop in at Tamarack to pick your winning squares!
Races begin at 4:00 on Saturday, July 16th, after the Community Fair. Bring your lawn chair to get a front row seat along Stoner Creek!

Making this Brewer's dinner even more meaningful is that a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Tamarack Angels- a group of 'Rack employees and community members who collect funds to buy gifts to ensure that children of the West Shore Food Bank have gifts to open at Christmas.

The Flathead Valley Community College Foundation is hosting its Third Annual Festival of Flavors Fundraiser... and we're excited to be a part of it once again!
As part of a 10-day FOF extravaganza, Tamarack is hosting the "Microbrew Event" on Monday, October 11th. We're opening up the brewery floor and inviting some friends- Glacier Brewing Company, Flathead Lake Brewing Company, and Great Northern Brewing Company- to bring some beer and cheer for a good cause. Enjoy brews from all four breweries as well as amazing food created by Chef Roger Vanlandingham.
